I am very glad we found CS lofts. They arrived on time every day, the team were so helpful and came up with some creative ides along the way. The communication was excellent and we were kept fully informed of progress and what trades where arriving when.The team were tidy and also thoughtful when it came to our young children (keeping stairways safe etc).Their price was competitive and finished at exactly the cost they quoted. Finally and most importantly we love our new loft space, every finish was 5 star standard and we would recommend them without hesitation.

We wanted to extend the house with a loft extension being the most sensible way of doing it without breaking the bank. With it still being a significant outlay and with your house generally being your most valuable asset, you want someone to do this work who you can trust, is very good at what they do, timely and fair priced. Having no building contacts I turned to CheckaTrade looking for builders, and I think with only one exception I did not even receive a reply, and the one that did arrange to come round never showed up! Therefore I Googled “Loft Extensions” and up came “CS Lofts” so I e-mailed them. As a welcome change from previous companies contacted, CS Lofts replied and arranged to come round, and they arrived exactly when they said they would. This set the tone for the relationship going forward. CS Lofts take care of everything, the drawings, the planning application with the council, all the different trades that work onsite etc. Each job has a project manager, Benni in our case who coordinated everything. They gave us an estimate of how long it would take and they were well within this at completion. With any project there will always be something that comes up that was unforeseen, and in those very few instances everything got sorted out in a very fair and quick way.I always feel if writing a review there should be something to comment on as a point for improvement, but in this case I just can’t think of anything. The loft extension is now finished and the end result is absolutely fantastic. Benni as the project Manager was awesome, Andy, Joe, Sam, John, the plumber, roofers (sorry forgot your names) all made a reliable team of really friendly, professional, people.So if anyone asks, my advice to them would be without a shadow of a doubt use CS Lofts, to the point of, don’t waste your time looking anywhere else.Mark Fletcher

We were very satisfied with the end result. In spite of bad weather conditions (snow and incessant rain) that created frustrating delays, the guys always maintained a friendly, good natured and flexible approach. They communicated well and tried their best to work around my work appointments at home. The new roof, upgrading of the original dormer that now matches the new dormer has given our home a smart up-dated look, and we are loving our big bathroom. We were also very happy with the quote which was adhered to. We would definitely recommend CS Lofts.

We were extremely impressed by the professionalism of the whole CS Lofts team. From Richard and Sam who met with us at home, to Danny, Luke and Arthur who carried out the Loft build, and of course ever helpful and responsive Louise at the office. They all did absolutely everything they could to make life as simple, clean, and comfortable for us throughout the job. They were enthusiastic, kind, polite and responsive to our queries. The work was delivered to a high standard within the time schedule and to the agreed budget. We absolutely recommend this very honest and professional firm.

CS lofts have completed a hip to gable loft conversion on our property. The end to end experience was fantastic. The first fix team, Luke and Lewis were great, polite. professional and the most friendly guys you could ever meet. Our PM Gil catered to all of our needs and was always on hand to help. It was a pleasure to have them working in our home, thanks to Richard and the CS lofts team.

We were looking for a full-service loft conversion firm and couldn't be happier with the end product from CS Lofts. From the initial quote to completion, the team were honest, professional, considerate, hardworking and flexible. Exactly what was quoted was exactly what was paid - no surprises. They were clear and timely communicating to us and guided us with really good ideas from their experience. There's always challenges in every build but tbh, the build process was smooth overall and we are extremely happy with the loft. I would highly recommend CS Lofts if you are considering a loft conversion.

I decided to go with CS Lofts having seen that they did a house a few streets away from us. Having spoken to other loft specialists, we got a good feeling about them and went with them. Richard was very approachable and easy to speak to. Luke and Jack were the main builders...and I would like to say we're very professional and accommodating to several variations in the plan, even minor alterations after build. Very solid work and timely. The work was held up due to some Very bad rain weather. but I deem them to have held up their side of the bargain in terms of the agreed time frame.

We carried out an indepth research before finally settling on hiring CS Lofts for our loft conversion work; and we did not regret it. I can go on forever about their professionalism and courtesy. Our loft conversion has finished recently and we would recommend CS Lofts. The team were trustworthy and extremely efficient and left a good job. We had some hiccups along the way but were able to communicate well and there were no issues in getting things sorted. The quote was explained well with no hidden costs and some costs were deducted for things that we chose to order or do ourselves, and again no issues.

We have done a lot of building projects in our time, and can honestly say that loft life have been head and shoulders above any other building team we've ever used. They were exceptional. Very responsive to messages, keen to fix any issues that arose in a very timely manner, and thoroughly professional. Every tradesperson that came in to assist was excellent without exception. They were all friendly, hard working, and clearly took pride in their work. The job was completed with speed, and the whole proces was stress and hassle free. We couldn't be happier with our loft!

Richard and his team were very easy to deal with. The loft build was on time and on budget, and they kept the place tidy throughout - couldn't have asked for much more. They guys were extremely pleasant and considerate as we had a new born in the house during the build.In terms of after care, 1 year post the build we had an issue with some guttering due to bad weather and they came around and fixed it as part of their guarantee - all very seamless. Would definitely recommend

We are really glad we chose CS Lofts for our loft conversion. They are a company of genuine people who want to do the best job they can for their clients. They listened to our needs and ideas and were flexible and patient. They guided us through each stage of the design and build and their pricing was clear and good value. Alex and Darryl, who built the main structure, were friendly, punctual and tidy. The subcontractors were also generally good. When there was a problem, Richard and Sam listened to our concerns and were reassuring. They have very high standards for the trades they collaborate with. We now have an extra bedroom, ensuite and office which we are very pleased with. We would recommend CS Lofts to anyone else looking to do a loft conversion.

CS lofts -Ben, Benni, Ibi and Luke were brilliant. Polite, courteous and wonderful with our 4yr old. I was nervous of the glowing reviews here thinking - can this be true? So I booked an independent surveyor (Via build zone - which I wouldnt recommend as turned out to be unnecessary!). CS were absolutely fine about the 4 visits from the surveyor - which showed no issues at all. Trades highly skilled and friendly too. So, CS - great team, work done on time, competitive price, no hidden extras and everything done with real integrity.

CS Lofts recently built my loft conversion. Richard & Sam managed the project exceptionally well. I could not have asked for a smoother experience. CS Lofts were one of the most flexible and competitive of all the companies we spoke to, and after seeing some of their work locally decided to go with them. Ricahrd and Sam lay out the process well and Lousie kept all the admin moving smoothly.The build team of Alex and Daryl and all the subcontractors were courteous, informative and really hard working.Where any issues did arrive they were dealt with promptly.The build was super quick (finished within 10 weeks) and a positive experience all round. We are very pleased with our loft extension done by CS Lofts. The process was handled very well with minimal hassle and the quality of the work has been good. When we had questions or items on our checklist that needed doing we got prompt responses and all the work we raised was completed. The finishing touches were good and the team went to a lot of trouble to make sure we were happy with the end result.

CS Loft did our loft conversion and they were fantastic. Ben and Benni managed the project and were very proficient. Even through it was a big loft with 15 meter dormer, 2 bedrooms, bathroom, dressing room and big landing space, still they were able to complete the whole project in 2.5 months and while we were still living in the property. The cost at the end was exactly the same as initial quote + optional extras that we opted. These guys are the benchmark for good builders!!

Thank you! We had a nightmare with another builder who started the job and then said the layout we wanted wasn’t possible. Richard took on the job and exceeded all our expectation, we got the bedroom and en-suite we wanted and the quality of finish was exceptional. A year on and we still couldn’t be happier!

We chose to go with CS Lofts for our conversion as a number of people on our road had spoken very highly of them. We weren't disappointed. From the start we felt supported as they helped us negotiate some tricky planning obstacles with our local council. Once planning permission was approved things started moving quickly. We were very impressed at the speed of the work and the quality of the workmanship. There was minimal disruption and the crew were friendly and extremely knowledgeable. All the external trades people that CS used were also of a very high standard. Would def recommend.

CS Lofts have completed our loft conversion recently. They were understanding when we delayed our decision late last year, and were able to accommodate us when we wanted to proceed.The work started quickly and moved very fast. Within 2 weeks the shall was up. The builders worked hard and stayed later to ensure deadlines were met. We cannot fault the work ethic.The plastering, plumping and carpentry were all done efficiently. There was a couple of snags throughout the process, but these were fixed quickly.We did have to move out for a week or so while the stairs were being installed and the resultant mess, but this was a personal choice, with 2 small children it felt easier.Richard and Louise were quick in communicating times etc.Overall, very happy with the service and would recommend and use again.

Really impressed by the speed with which CS Lofts worked. We heard about CS lofts through our neighbour, they completed a loft conversion and chimney removal for us. The knowledge and expertise they have are unmatched compared to other companies I had previous considered. Even with the unpredictable weather they were able to complete the works within the agreed timeframe and at a great price. My overall experience with CS Lofts was fantastic! CS Lofts came recommended by good friends, and we are very happy with the hip to gable loft conversion CS Lofts completed for us. It took place over winter 2022 and the team did a great job to seal the roof and keep the elements at bay during the rain & snow. We were impressed from the first meeting through to completion. Big thanks to Sam, Richard, Luke and Lewis who were very pleasant to have around and went above & beyond throughout. Also to the extended CS crew; Brian & Mark who we kept on to re-do our main bathroom, as well as the loft, and Jon & Chuck, who ended up decorating most of the house. Have spent many years in the construction industry, so when it was time to get my own loft conversion done I had several "General builders" that I knew that I could call upon .... However they are "General for a reason" and were either prohibitively expensive or did not possess the specialist skills required for my awkward loft. We gave up on the idea untill a chance meeting with Richard and within half an hour he assured us that a conversion was definitely possible, things moved quickly from there and the build started 2 weeks later and took less than 10 weeks at a price that was incredibly reasonable. We have completed the decorating now and are very happy with the results. The main team were great and the supporting trades were all friendly, aminable and tidy with all work to a good standard. Thanks again to Richard Sam and all of the CS team, highly recommended. .........The moral is if you want brain surgery you don't go to a gp ...... if you want a loft , go to a specialist......

- Overall we had a very positive experience with CS Lofts. We were able to live in with two small children whilst the works were being completed and they were considerate of this, ensuring they tidied up after themselves and ensured the build was left as safe as possible from one day to the next. We had a great working relationship with Harry who was very efficient and easy to communicate with. He coordinated all the work and tradespeople well and ensured we were happy with the end results. The only issues occurred when he was away and he sought to rectify these on his return.

CS loft have been nothing but amazing. From the frost Initial visit to completion. Sam was great explaining the process, what to expect and what we needed. Louise in the admin office was always available and arranged a viewing of a previous job before we signed our contract. The communication throughout was amazing. Out PM Gil was great and he really managed the build well taking into consideration our input and alway on hand. What struck me the most was when there were issues the team took control and rectified everything beyond our expectations. I would recommend CS lofts.

We used CS Lofts for our loft extension (hip to gable roof with dormer) and conversion. From our first interaction (the in person quote) and throughout our project we have been hugely impressed by everyone at CS Lofts. They are a family business and that care, attention and professionalism shines through. You are provided with a fixed quote, a comprehensive quote sheet and contract before going ahead, which is so refreshing to see exactly what will be done, and everyone is clear from the outset.Richard was fantastic as our project manager, a real ‘can-do’ attitude and problem solver going above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction at every stage, including the aftercare provided long after the project had finished. Louise was always contactable and so helpful moving our work start date when our house purchase was delayed. Luke and Lewis (our 1st fix team) were so polite and professional - it was a pleasure having them around. Carpenters Luke and Gil (2nd fix) are very skilled and did a fantastic job finishing with great attention to detail, especially fixing complex sliding doors we had chosen. Their recommended tiler, Brian’s work was also impeccable. Too many individuals to name them all. CS Lofts completed the buildings regs approval for us and coordinated all the tradespeople very impressively, especially over the Christmas period.We have no hesitation in highly recommending CS Lofts to anyone looking for a caring, professional and quality company. We’re chuffed!

I found CS Lofts by chance walking past one of their projects. They’ve now been recommended for 5/6 other projects through us and for good reason. Ours was a complicated end of terrace with side and rear dormers due to council conservation area restrictions. They drew up the plans and managed it through council planning which can be a tricky process particularly with a conservation area. Once permission was granted CS Lofts had the scaffolding up and were up and running with a few weeks. The whole process took 12 weeks from start to finish and the whole time they remained collaborative, considerate and on budget. Ours is not the biggest loft in the world but through some clever design we’ve now got an en suite master bedroom with office area in our loft. Great experience all round.

CS-lofts recently completed a double domer loft conversion to our house. We are extremely happy with the extra space, they created 2 very bright and airy bedrooms and a separate shower room.Overall it was a positive experience from start to finish. A huget thank you to Richard and his building team they did a good job onsite very professional and higly skilled, they worked quick and effeciently. Richard and his team were very flexible, we changed our mind on a couple of things during the project and Richard was happy to accommodate for us, nothing was a problem.The communicaton was good throughout the whole project. Ridchard was always available, very patient and happy to answer our enquiries at any time, even after the project was completed.The project was completed on time to what was originally planned. There were no hidding costs or surprises.Overall very pleased with the end results and the service CS-lofts provided us.We would not hesitate to recommend CS-lofts to anyone looking to do their loft conversion stress free and to a high standard.

Having your loft converted is a big job and the thought of it is stressful so you want to make sure you have the right people. We found CS Lofts to be very efficient and polite and whilst I was working from home they didn’t bother me at all. They turned up and got on with the project and it was great to see how quickly they progressed with it. We are so pleased with the end result, the stairway being much more spacious than we had imagined and we now have 2 good sized bedrooms for our girls to have their own space and grow up in. Its taken a while to get round to this, Richard finished our conversion about 18 months ago. I just wanted to live with it for a while before commenting. We are very happy with it, everything's as it should be. The building work was as you'd expect but they did keep the house as clean as they could, He built a temporary wall and all the work went on behind it. So while a bit dusty nothing to deadly. Now we've had use of it its like its always been there. Very good builders, and very polite.

The ﬁnish is brilliant and I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending CS lofts to friends and family. I have seen many loft conversions and refurbishments over the years and as a bit of a perfectionist, this work is in a completely different league. A huge thank you to the builders, in particular project manager Richard and all his team. Their guys were always on time, polite and considerate. The carpenter, plumber and electrician in particular did an excellent job. I had dreamt of how my loft bedroom and en-suite would look for ages and it is exactly how I envisaged and probably better. By far the best experience I have had with a building firm. The big thing with these guys is not just the quality of the work, which was spot on, but the confidence you feel in leaving them to get on with it. We're over the moon with our incredible new loft. Richard and co we're fantastic, very approachable and courteous, more than happy to answer our constant questions and queries. Richards great knowledge of loft conversions was evident in the ingenious ideas he had for us to maximise the space we'd created.
